Who is 'j-Sco'? I'm so glad you stopped by to learn a little bit about me! My name is Jaclyn and I am an educator in Glendale, California. I love being a teacher and believe that each day is a unique learning experience. All my life I have loved to "doodle" and sketch...and so I simply love designing door hangers and other crafts! Why door hangers? It all started about 5 years ago when I was teaching Kindergarten. I used to use sticky notes outside my classroom door to quickly write down where my class and I would be. Well my scratchy notes got lost and I had to keep writing them over and over again... and then I thought... I need a door knob hanger to tell everyone where I'll be. The rest, as they say, is history! In the past year, I have added a few new products to jscoDesigns.com. I am now offering hand painted clipboards, tins, and plastic apples. While it keeps me really busy, I am enjoying being a teacher during the day and an artist at night. Thank you for visiting my website. A main joy in my life is my dog George. He's so much fun and of course adorable (from a "mama's" eye!) He is all boy and seems to get into lots of mischief. 
In the summer of 2005, George found love and entered into "wedded bliss" with his sweetheart, Dixie Belle. 
In September 2005, Mona Mia was born. We just love our little 'Mo'! 
George and Dixie added a new baby girl to their family. Meet Stella Mae - a new bundle of trouble!  Here is a dog family portrait. We just LOVE our dogs!
